"American Idol" 2014 resumes April 2 on FOX as the top eight finalists reprise their audition songs for America's votes and critiques from celebrity judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick, Jr. Betting odds posted to Bovada Sportsbook just hours before the broadcast saw yet another shake-up as teen electronic music enthusiast Jena Irene Asciutto assumed the position as competition front runner for the first time.

Asciutto, 17, who most recently sang the Evanescence hit "Bring Me to Life" for the March 26 live show, is favored to win season 13 with 5/2 odds. She is scheduled to reprise Adele's monster hit "Rolling in the Deep" for the top eight show. Alex Preston, a former front runner who will sing his original song "Fairy Tale," is ranked second with 3/1 odds of his own.

In third place with 4/1 odds of victory is aspiring rocker Caleb Johnson, who will sing Aretha Franklin's "Chain of Fools," while 11/2 odds leave Malaya Watson in fourth place. The effervescent teen will also go the way of Franklin, singing "Ain't No Way" for America's consideration.

Ranked fifth with 8/1 odds is Slapout, Ala. native Jessica Meuse, who will sing her original song "Blue-Eyed Lie," while up and coming country artist Dexter Roberts, a previous front runner, sits in sixth place with 9/1 odds of victory. Roberts is schedule to reprise "One Mississippi" by Brett Eldredge.

Finally, a pair of guys round out the bottom of the order with identical 12/1 odds. Included are former competition favorite Sam Woolf, who will sing Ed Sheeran's "Lego House," and C. J. Harris, who will once again put his spin on The Allman Brothers' "Soulshine."

The "American Idol" 2014 top eight performance show airs April 2 on FOX.
